About

Olga Hilgers is a Berlin-based visual artist born in Ukraine in 1985.

She completed her studies in Economics in addition to a successful MBA, followed by a few years living in Beijing where she couldn’t ignore her passion for Art-making anymore and decided to move to Berlin to pursue a career in the arts, where she has been living for a decade, and where today has her atelier and showroom.

Statement

“At the heart of my artistic journey lies a profound exploration of feminine power and freedom. It began with sketching bodies inspired by the work of Vallejo, then evolved to portray strong female figures inspired by personal encounters, ancient narratives, and contemporary events. Each stroke of my brush shows a unique perspective where symbolism mixes with cultural commentary.

My paintings serve as honest and clear narratives, inviting viewers to embrace their inner strength and autonomy. Through my art, I strive to empower others to see their potential and forge their path to liberation.”
